VLBS — Vavelio Load Balancing Solutions

We have built our own load balancer for high-throughput infrastructure. We also deploy and maintain HAProxy and nginxload balancers at fleet scale. We do not support Apache.

PLATFORMS

Three platforms. One standard.

Vavelio LB — Built In-House

Our own load balancer, purpose-built for the traffic patterns we see in production. Layer 4 and Layer 7, health checking, session persistence, and automatic backend failover. Deployed as the default for all new client infrastructure.

HAProxy — Enterprise Scale

Industry-standard TCP/HTTP load balancer. Deployed and managed at fleet scale for clients who require HAProxyspecifically or have existing HAProxy configurations to maintain.

nginx — Reverse Proxy & LB

nginx configured as a high-performance load balancer and reverse proxy. Ideal for HTTP/HTTPS workloads with caching, compression, and SSL termination requirements.

WHAT WE DON’T SUPPORT

No Apache. By design.

We do not deploy or support Apache HTTP Server as a load balancer. nginx and HAProxy outperform Apache in connection handling, memory efficiency, and throughput under the workload patterns we engineer for. If your existing infrastructure depends on Apache, we will migrate you to nginx or HAProxy as part of the engagement.
